Reset your keyboard to factory settings

To reset your keyboard back to factory settings, you will need to erase the memory and flash your keyboard with new firmware.

Cantor remix

To initiate a reset for your Cantor Remix, invert it and identify a small opening on the keyboard's side where the USB-C cable is inserted. Proceed to download and launch the QMK Toolbox software on your PC.

Connect the keyboard to your computer using a USB-C cable. In the "MCU (AVR Only)" section, opt for "atmega32u4." Within the "Local file" tab, select "open" to locate the firmware file intended for flashing onto the microcontroller. Activate the "Auto-Flash" option.

Now, it's time to access the bootloader on the STM32F401:

  1. Locate the physical microcontroller's "BOOT0" and "NRST" buttons.

  2. Hold down the "BOOT0" button without releasing it.

  3. Swiftly click on the "NRST" button.

  4. Release the "BOOT0" button.

Allow the flashing process to conclude. QMK will exhibit the current status of reading and writing the software. Disconnect the USB cable from the board. Upon reconnection, the installed program should operate normally.

Remember to flash both sides!
